ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Essence Natay!

Essence Natay  is a budding American contemporary RnB artiste with an awesome voice and great personality.  Her work is plagued by poignant lyrics, sensuality, emotive storytelling, and groovy choruses.

Essence Natay has two singles out : “Aries” and “Flatline” and honestly, they’re legit RnB earworms. Each song carries a specific atmosphere, which is cemented by her lush vocals and relatable lyrics.

Essence Natay’s songs center on inner-conflict,  knotty relationships, wrong choices, lusty desires and genuine love affairs. “Aries”— her current single, is personal, lusty and very sensual.  She explore her sexual fantasies on this track, and I really love it — raw and relatable. The infectious rush is undeniable! This song has a carefree nature to it.

Meanwhile, “flatline” is a sultry RnB ode to inner conflict and patchy relationships. It’s a slightly melancholic track that dwells on self-interrogations and a problematic relationship she shares with her lover. Your heart sinks as she pours out her feeling on a contemporary RnB beat, effortlessly. Her voice glides beautifully on this song, creating a somber sphere.
